    Description

Running your tractor without a proper expansion tank is asking for trouble - overheating, blown hoses, or worse. This coolant overflow tank is a direct replacement for John Deere AL78004 and is made with quality of the same specifications as the original John Deere. No more topping off the radiator every morning or wondering if you'll make it through a hot afternoon of haying.

    What You're Getting

    • Compact 13" x 11.5" x 6.5" size fits tight spaces in your engine compartment
    • Lightweight at just 3.14 pounds empty - yet holds over 65 pounds when full
    • Durable construction resists cracking and UV damage from engine heat and sun
    • Proper venting prevents coolant loss and maintains system pressure
    • Direct bolt-in replacement - no modifications needed

    Built for Real Farm Work

This expansion tank is designed for larger John Deere tractors with substantial cooling systems. When you're running a high-horsepower tractor hard - pulling heavy implements, running PTO equipment all day, or working in hot conditions - your cooling system needs room to expand. That's what this tank provides. It catches the overflow when coolant heats up and expands, then feeds it back to the radiator as things cool down.

    Made to Last

The tank is built from materials that handle both the heat of engine compartments and the chemical properties of modern coolants. Proper baffling inside prevents sloshing, and the vented cap design maintains the right pressure balance. At 13 inches long by 11.5 inches wide, it's sized to fit in typical tractor engine compartments while providing the capacity these big engines need.

    Good to Know

Installation is straightforward - mount the tank securely in a location higher than the radiator cap, connect the overflow hose from your radiator, and make sure the vent system is working properly. Check your coolant level in both the radiator and expansion tank after installation and again after the first heat cycle. Remember to use the proper coolant mixture for your climate - this tank holds a lot of coolant when full, so mixing it right matters.
