Standard spin-on installation - clean the mounting surface, coat the new gasket with a thin film of oil, and hand-tighten plus three-quarters turn. Don't overdo it with the wrench. Change this filter every time you change oil, typically every 250-500 hours depending on how hard you're working the machine and how dusty conditions are.
