    Description

When your John Deere is burning oil, losing compression, or making noise that tells you it's time for a rebuild, this engine overhaul kit has everything you need to get back to work. Whether you're doing the job yourself or having a shop handle it, this complete kit takes the guesswork out of ordering parts and makes sure you don't get stuck waiting for that one missing component.

    What You're Getting

    • Complete sleeve and piston assembly with rings for a like-new bore and compression
    • All gaskets and seals including crankshaft seals to prevent leaks
    • Pin bushings and retainers that handle the stress of heavy field work
    • 3-ring pistons designed for standard compression engines - perfect for reliable daily use
    • Quality Tru-Power components that meet OEM specifications

    Built for Real Farm Work

This kit fits the 6-cylinder diesel engines in John Deere's workhorse 2940, 2950, and 2955 series tractors. These are the machines that handle everything from loader work and hay operations to row crop farming and custom work. The 359 cubic inch diesel was built to run hard and long, and this kit gets it back to doing just that.

    Made to Last

Farm engines take a beating with dust, heat, and long hours under load. This kit uses quality materials and precise manufacturing to handle those conditions. The sleeves are built to proper tolerances, the gaskets seal tight, and everything's designed to give you years of reliable service before the next overhaul.

    Good to Know

This is a basic kit without bearings, so you'll need to check your rod and main bearings separately. Don't forget to check the rod bolt length and order the right replacements - either TP-R74194 for 2.125 inch bolts or TP-R80033 for 2.325 inch bolts. A good machine shop can help you measure and determine what you need if you're not sure.
