Description
When you're running diesel equipment all day, water contamination in your fuel can shut you down faster than anything. A few drops of water getting to your injection system means expensive repairs and lost time in the field. This Baldwin fuel water separator does exactly what its name says—it catches water before it can damage your engine while filtering out particles that could clog your fuel system.
What You're Getting
- Integral post seal design that eliminates leaks at the most common failure point
- Built-in sensor port with 1/2-20 threads for water detection systems when you need monitoring
- 8 1/8 inch length provides maximum filtration area for longer service intervals
- 1-14 thread size ensures secure mounting with proper torque specifications
- Quality Baldwin construction that handles the pressure and vibration of heavy-duty diesel engines
Built for Heavy-Duty Work
This filter is designed for the big diesel engines that power serious equipment—Caterpillar construction and agricultural machines, Cummins-powered trucks and generators, plus Blue Bird school buses that need reliable operation day after day. Whether you're running a Cat excavator, a Cummins-powered grain truck during harvest, or maintaining a fleet of buses, clean fuel delivery is critical for keeping these engines running strong.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been filtering fuel for decades, and they know what it takes to protect expensive diesel injection systems. The filter media separates water while trapping particles down to the micron level, and the housing is built to withstand the pressure spikes and temperature changes that come with real-world operation.
Installation Notes
This is a spin-on design that threads right onto your existing filter base—no special tools needed. The integral post seal must be installed properly for leak-free operation, so don't skip that step. If you don't need the sensor port, you can plug it with an OP8752 plug to keep things clean and prevent contamination.
