Installation Notes
This is a direct spin-on replacement that threads right onto your existing filter base. Apply a thin coat of clean hydraulic oil to the gasket before installation, then hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the base, plus an additional three-quarters turn. Always use clean hydraulic oil when changing filters and inspect the old filter element for excessive metal particles or unusual debris. If the system has been contaminated, consider flushing and changing oil along with the filter.
