Good to Know
This is a spin-on design, so installation is straightforward—just unscrew the old filter and thread on the new one. Apply a thin coat of clean diesel fuel to the gasket before installation, then hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the mounting surface plus another 3/4 turn. Keep a drain pan handy since you'll lose some fuel when removing the old filter.
