Installation Notes
This is a direct spin-on replacement that installs just like your original filter. Always shut down the engine and let the system cool before changing hydraulic filters. Apply a thin coat of clean hydraulic fluid to the gasket before installation, then hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the mounting surface, plus another 3/4 turn. Keep the old filter to check for unusual contamination that might indicate other system problems.
