Description
If you've ever had a bolt back itself out on your tractor while you're working, you know how frustrating it can be. This little zinc-plated lock washer might seem simple, but it's one of those parts that keeps your equipment running right. The split design creates tension that prevents bolts from loosening up due to vibration—something every piece of farm equipment deals with daily.
What You're Getting
- Split-ring design that grips bolt threads and prevents backing out
- Grade 5 strength rating handles the stress and torque of farm equipment
- Zinc plating resists rust and corrosion for longer life outdoors
- 1/4 inch size fits standard quarter-inch bolts found throughout tractors
- Direct replacement for worn or missing washers
Built for Real Farm Work
These lock washers are used throughout agricultural equipment—from small utility tractors to large combines. You'll find quarter-inch bolts holding together everything from PTO shields and hydraulic fittings to implement brackets and cab components. Anywhere there's vibration and you need a bolt to stay tight, this washer does the job.
Made to Last
The zinc coating provides excellent corrosion protection, which is crucial when you're dealing with fertilizers, chemicals, and outdoor storage. Grade 5 rating means it won't crack or lose its spring tension under normal farm equipment loads.
Good to Know
Always replace lock washers when you're doing maintenance—once they've been compressed, they lose some of their holding power. Make sure the washer goes under the bolt head, not the nut, for best results. Keep a few extras in your toolbox since these are one of those parts you always seem to need.
